The current consolidation around 4700 is quite tight. While some might see this as a prelude to a breakout, we must be cautious. Such periods often precede a significant fakeout, where the market sweeps liquidity on both sides before establishing a true direction. Keep an eye on the volume spikes.

Hey @thando4280, I hear you on the consolidation, but I see it as building pressure for a massive breakout UP. All these cautious traders are just waiting to get run over. Gold's going higher.

Hey @thando4280, I get what you're saying about consolidation and fakeouts, it's definitely a risk. But I'm seeing the 20 SMA holding nicely around 4612 on the 4hr chart. Plus, that news about Middle East tensions pushing gold higher seems to be outweighing the consolidation fears for me. I'm leaning towards a bullish breakout.
