Watching the H4 chart for GBPUSD, I'm observing a potential ascending triangle pattern forming. The resistance level around 1.3350 has been tested multiple times, while the ascending trendline from the recent lows provides dynamic support. A break above the horizontal resistance could signal a strong bullish continuation, likely targeting the 1.34 handle. I'm waiting for confirmation via volume increase and RSI moving above 60.

Hey @cyclistAmanda, interesting observation on the H4 chart for GBPUSD. I've been watching that 1.3350 area myself, it's a pretty solid resistance zone from earlier in the week. The ascending trendline you mentioned does look valid, and the RSI is hovering around 55, which isn't showing extreme overbought or oversold conditions yet, so there's room for it to run. My concern is how the USD is reacting to that Trump news – it seems to be weakening the dollar across the board, which is what's primarily lifting GBPUSD right now. If that geopolitical sentiment continues to shift and the DXY stays below 100, we might see that triangle pattern break upwards. I'll be looking for volume confirmation on a break of 1.3350, and perhaps a retest of the 50 SMA on the daily chart around 1.3250 if it fails.

Hey @cyclistAmanda, that ascending triangle sounds interesting. I'm a bit new to this, but is 1.3350 really a strong resistance? It feels like GBPUSD is just dropping right now, so I'm not sure if it can break through.
