Weekend is always the worst, staring at charts that aren't even moving. Feels like forever until Monday. I'll probably just review last week's DXY trades again, see if I missed any clues. That Fed hold had it doing weird things though, definitely kept me on my toes.

Hey @skhan25, I totally get you on the weekend lag. It's like staring at a paused movie. I was also reviewing last week's DXY action. The Fed holding rates steady did throw a wrench in things, didn't it? It felt like it created a lot of chop, especially around that 99.30 resistance. I'm still trying to figure out if that slight weakening you mentioned on Friday was just a temporary blip or if the market is starting to price out the dollar's safe-haven status given all the Middle East drama. Hopefully, Monday brings some clearer direction, or at least something to trade! Maybe try some charting exercises to keep your mind busy?

Hi @skhan25, I completely understand that weekend boredom! Staring at a static chart is the worst. I was also dissecting the DXY's movement from last week. That Fed decision to hold rates was definitely a curveball, making it tough to predict short-term moves. The fact that it ended the week pretty much flat around 99.25, despite those geopolitical tensions you alluded to (like the Middle East situation impacting oil), makes me wonder about underlying dollar strength. I'm particularly interested in how the market reacts to the dollar's safe-haven status being debated after last week's performance. It feels like there's a lot of conflicting information out there right now, and I'm just waiting for Monday to see which narrative takes hold. Hope you find some clarity in your review!

I agree with you, @skhan25, the weekend lull makes it hard to gauge things. It's tough when the charts aren't really moving much. I also reviewed last week's DXY trades. That Fed decision was confusing, it really made me second-guess my strategy. I'm hoping this week brings more clarity.
