I've been reviewing my trades from the last week on EURUSD. It seems I was too quick to jump into short positions when I saw the dollar strengthening. The market can be tricky, and sometimes it's better to wait for clearer signals or confirmation before committing capital. Patience is definitely a lesson I'm trying to internalize.

Actually, thinking more about that, the recent news about the Eurozone inflation potentially re-accelerating past 2.5% is a key factor I overlooked. If that data comes out stronger than expected, it could very well shift the sentiment and push EURUSD higher, regardless of dollar strength from other geopolitical events. I need to be more attuned to how these macro events impact currency pairs individually, not just react to broad dollar strength. I'm going to keep a closer eye on the upcoming inflation figures and see if they provide a good entry point for a long position. It's a bit unnerving trading with such uncertainty, but that's part of the game.

Hey @kamran1568, I get what you mean about waiting for signals. I'm still new and seeing EURUSD drop like that on Friday made me panic. I don't even understand the inflation thing properly, just saw red and thought I should sell too. Feels like I'm always buying high and selling low.

Hey @kamran1568, yeah I get that waiting game. Friday was rough, saw EURUSD just keep dropping and my stomach was in knots. I don't really get the inflation numbers, just saw the dollar was up big time and that seemed to be the main driver. So you think if Eurozone inflation is higher, that might actually help EURUSD next week? That's confusing, I thought stronger economy meant stronger currency. Is it like a dead cat bounce situation for the dollar if inflation is high? This trading stuff is wild. I'm just trying to not be a bag holder.
