Friday's close felt kinda weak for the Euro. Like it wanted to drop but just ran out of steam. Definitely feeling some gap risk for Monday open, ugh.

Yeah @JWilson52, that Friday close definitely had me scratching my head. Felt like it could have gone either way. Definitely a bit of gap risk on the table for Monday open, which is always a gamble.

Hey @JWilson52, I totally get what you mean about that Friday close. It really felt like EUR/USD was teetering, you know? Like it had the momentum to push higher, but then just… fizzled out. That 1.18 level is such a sticky point, and with the RSI dipping below 40, I'm a bit wary too.

I saw that oil news too, about the Strait of Hormuz reopening. Honestly, I'm not sure how much that directly impacts EUR/USD, but any big geopolitical shift can create unexpected volatility, especially leading into a new week. I'm definitely expecting some sort of gap open on Monday, and I've already adjusted my stop loss to be a bit wider just in case, but not too wide that it defeats the purpose. It's always a gamble, but that's trading for ya.
