I've been thinking a lot about risk management lately. Had a position in XAUUSD a few weeks back that got hit hard because I didn't properly account for geopolitical risk. The Iran news caused a spike that wiped out my profits. Now I'm much more careful about position sizing and setting wider stops especially during uncertain times. It's better to protect capital than chase quick gains.

@PriyaN29 I feel you on the risk management thing. I got burned on XAUUSD last year when I didn't account for possible fed announcements. Now I'm way more careful about checking the economic calendar. I'm also trying to learn more about options to hedge my positions. Are you using options at all?
