I like to scale into my long positions on XAUUSD. I'll enter a small position first, and if price shows confirmation like a clean break of resistance, I'll add more. I also scale out of winners, taking partial profits at key levels to lock in gains and let the rest run.

@ajones587 I get what you're saying about scaling in, but honestly, where's the fun in that? I prefer to just go full margin long right at the perceived bottom or short at the top. If it's going to move, I want to catch the whole ride, not just bits and pieces. Less thinking, more action!
