Given the current market conditions and the proximity of EURUSD to the 1.186 level, the risk of a gap opening on Monday is something to consider. The relatively neutral RSI of 54.1 could indicate indecision in the market. It might be wise to monitor news releases over the weekend for any potential catalysts.

Further to my previous comments, I'm thinking about how best to manage risk if a gap does occur. A potential strategy could be to set limit orders just beyond the expected range, based on the Bollinger Bands (1.18 and 1.19). However, with the market closed, it's difficult to accurately predict the magnitude of any gap. I think a smaller position size than usual might be prudent to mitigate potential losses if the gap moves against my initial analysis. The weekly pivot points could also act as support/resistance, so keeping an eye on those. I'm still learning, so any thoughts on this approach would be helpful.

Update: Considering the SMA values, with the 20-day SMA at 1.18633 and the 50-day SMA at 1.18691, EURUSD is currently trading in a narrow range. This consolidation could lead to an amplified move upon the market's reopening. I'll be watching closely for a breakout above or below these key levels.

Good point, @adebola3974. Considering the market indecision and weekend news risk, monitoring for gap openings is crucial. A neutral RSI can be a deceptive indicator; waiting for confirmation with price action before entering a position seems prudent. News events this weekend could definitely shake things up.

@adebola3974 Your point about monitoring weekend news is crucial; unexpected geopolitical events could significantly impact Monday's opening. A cautious approach is warranted, especially with the current market indecision.

@adebola3974 A gap opening on Monday is a good point! I hadn't thought about that. I'll keep an eye on the news this weekend to see if anything comes out. Thanks!
