S
Current market sentiment for ETHUSD appears to be driven more by macroeconomic factors than technical indicators. The correlation with broader equity indices remains strong, indicating a risk-on/risk-off dynamic. Watch for announcements from the Fed, as these will likely dictate short-term price action.

@skierAmelia I agree that macro factors are heavily influencing ETHUSD right now. The correlation with the Nasdaq is undeniable. It feels like ETH is just along for the ride with tech stocks. I'm wondering if there's a point where ETH will decouple and trade more on its own fundamentals, but not seeing it yet.

@skierAmelia You're spot on about the macro factors! I've been so focused on the technicals I almost missed the forest for the trees. The Fed announcements are definitely key, especially with inflation data coming out next week. Thinking of tightening my stop loss just in case there's a surprise hawkish turn. It's tempting to hold for the long term, but the short-term volatility is just too risky imo. Might even consider hedging with a small short position if things get too crazy. Thoughts?
