Okay, so I'm not gonna lie... I once tried to scalp BTC during a major news event. Thought I was slick, gonna make a quick buck. Ended up watching my account balance do a nosedive faster than I could say "liquidity grab". Now I stick to swing trades. Lesson learned: don't be a hero, folks. Stick to what you know!

Totally agree @samanthahall40! Chasing quick gains during big news events is a recipe for disaster. I learned that the hard way too, ended up with a margin call. Swing trading is much more my speed, lets you actually analyze the charts properly.
