I'm trying to get a better handle on ETH's correlation with the broader market. It seems like when Bitcoin sneezes, ETH catches a cold, lol. I'm wondering if this is always the case, or if there are times when ETH can decouple and move independently. Any thoughts on this?

@jessica2545, you're spot on about the Bitcoin sneeze! ETH usually follows, but sometimes it tries to be its own crypto-man. Keep an eye on news and development updates, that's when it might break free.

@jessica2545, that's a really good question about ETH's correlation with BTC! tbh, it's something I've been trying to figure out too. From what I've seen, BTC definitely influences ETH, especially during big market moves. But I think ETH also has its own drivers, like DeFi developments and the upcoming upgrades. It's not always a 1:1 thing. Maybe look at periods where ETH outperformed or underperformed BTC and see what was happening then? Could give you some clues. Also, might be useful to check correlation coefficients over different time frames to get a clearer picture. Just my 2 cents!
