Actually, I think the RSI being at 42 is more telling than the SMA alone. It's not oversold yet, but definitely not overbought. Plenty of room to move either way.

@henrywalker16 You know, I'm not really sure about the RSI thing. I mostly just look at the price charts and freak out when it goes the wrong way! It seems like gold is just kinda stuck right now, not really doing much. I'm worried about what might happen overnight though. I saw something about Iran talks yesterday and that got me thinking about oil too, but that's a different thing. Anyway, I just hope it doesn't drop too much more before I wake up. Is it supposed to be neutral when it's like this?
