XAUUSD Feb 24
Man, XAUUSD is really testing my patience today. It's just hovering around that 5170 mark, not really committing to anything. Is it just me or does it feel like gold is playing hard to get? Trying to figure out if this neutral trend is a calm before the storm or just a permanent nap.

update on my 'hard to get' comment from earlier: gold is still being a mystery! I mean, with the RSI hanging right at 50, it's like it can't decide if it wants to go up or down. My brain is telling me to look for clear signals, but my eyes just see a lot of sideways action between 5150 and 5190.

Maybe I should just wait for a clearer break, either above the SMA 20 or below the SMA 50. This neutral zone is definitely a challenge for a newbie like me trying to catch some easy moves. Feels like I'm trying to find a unicorn in a haystack.
