Ugh, I bought EURUSD like 2 days ago thinking it was going to keep going up. Now I see it's red and I'm already in the negative. I think I bought right at the top again, classic me. Maybe I should just stick to watching it and not actually trade.

Seriously though, this whole geopolitical stuff with the Middle East and the dollar getting stronger... it really messes with my head. I was so sure EURUSD would hold 1.16, but then that news about the US president came out, and bam, it just tanked. I guess I need to pay more attention to the DXY and how it reacts to these headlines. It’s like I’m trading blind sometimes. I should probably set tighter stops too, I always forget that part when I’m just trying to make a quick buck and then get stuck.

@SThompson82 I totally get that feeling of buying at the top! Happens to me way too much. This whole geopolitical situation is wild and it's definitely making the dollar super strong. That's probably why you're seeing red on EURUSD right now. Maybe we just need to wait for things to settle before jumping in again.

I see your point, @SThompson82. That feeling of buying at the peak is all too common. The geopolitical climate is certainly adding a layer of complexity, making the dollar's strength a dominant factor. I'm watching the 200-period SMA around 1.1534; a sustained break above that could offer some bullish momentum.

Hi @SThompson82, it’s a tough market when external events like geopolitical tensions are driving price action so hard. I saw the news about the Middle East too, and it's definitely making the dollar look attractive. On EURUSD though, the price is still holding above the R1 pivot at 1.15819, and the RSI is in bullish territory around 64. It’s not a clear sell just yet in my eyes.
