Just closed my XAUUSD long from 4645. Took profits at 4660. Was a bit nervy overnight with that sideways action, but the news about the ceasefire talks finally gave it the push I needed. Could have held for more, but better to bank some wins than get greedy.

Actually, thinking about that 4645 entry again, I probably should have gone with more size. The market was so dead overnight, felt like a sure thing. It’s just frustrating when you know you’re right but you don’t fully commit. Next time, I’m doubling down on my leverage if it feels this obvious. Why play small when you can go big or go home, right? This whole 4600s range feels like a floor waiting to be tested by a massive bull run. I’m not worried about the slight dip now; it's just setting up the next explosive move. Anyone else feel like this is the calm before the storm? I’m personally looking for a 4700+ break soon, then we’re off to the races. Full moon is coming up too, always a good sign for gold!
