Good morning everyone. I'm observing XAUUSD and it seems to be in a relatively neutral trend currently, with RSI also around the middle. The price is quite close to the 20-day and 50-day SMAs, which suggests indecision. I'm wondering if this consolidation will continue or if a clear direction might emerge soon.

@arunkumar51 good morning! I totally agree with your assessment. The market feels really balanced right now, like it's taking a breather after that recent push up. Price being so close to both the 20 and 50 SMAs, and RSI hanging around neutral at 52.7, definitely points to that indecision you mentioned.

I'm watching the upper Bollinger Band around 5217 as a potential resistance if we get a move up, but also the pivot point around 5168 if it starts to dip. A break either way will be key for confirmation. Until then, I think caution is definitely the best approach. It's tough to take a strong position without a clearer signal, especially for a daytrader like me.
