Friday's close was a bit of a mixed bag for gold, hovering just below the 50 SMA. Not exactly screaming buy or sell, which is typical for a weekend close. I'm looking at the geopolitical situation and the oil price volatility – that's the real story pushing gold. Hoping we don't gap too wildly on Monday open, but I've adjusted my stops just in case.
