Watching GBPUSD closely during this quiet Sydney session. The 200 SMA is sitting right around the current price at 1.33145. If we can push through that and hold it as support, I might look for a bullish continuation setup. Anyone else seeing potential for a breakout above the Bollinger bands?

Actually, re-checking the intraday charts, the RSI is hovering around 57 which is pretty neutral, not screaming any particular direction. So the lack of movement makes sense. We need to see if we can get over that 200 SMA for any real bullish conviction to build.

Hey @nicole9535, I'm also watching GBPUSD. It's tough to call with the 200 SMA so close to the current price. I'm a bit hesitant about that breakout idea. The price action has been so choppy lately, and I'm worried we could get a false breakout. Plus, with all the news about AI and jobs potentially being disrupted, the economic outlook feels uncertain, which makes me cautious about betting on big moves in pairs like this. I’d rather wait for a clearer signal, maybe a confirmed hold above that 200 SMA or a break of some solid resistance.
