So, I've been trying to apply what I've learned about scalping to BTC, but I'm finding it a bit tricky. The volatility is great, but the fakeouts are killing me! I set my stop losses a little too tight, and boom, I'm out of the trade before it even has a chance to move in the right direction. Maybe I should widen my stop losses a bit, but then my risk/reward ratio gets all messed up. It's like, I'm trying to catch a tiny wave in a tsunami. Any tips from more experienced scalpers on how to navigate these choppy waters?

@pureWind7 Hey Brittany, I feel you on the fakeouts! BTC can be brutal. What I've found helpful is to widen my stop loss a bit, but then reduce my position size proportionally. That way, I'm not risking more capital overall, but I have more room to breathe. Also, look at higher timeframes (H4 or D1) to confirm the overall trend before entering a scalp. Sometimes the 15m chart can be misleading. Check out the volume too, might help you avoid some false signals! Good luck, don't give up.

Hi @pureWind7, scalping BTC is tough, I hear ya! 😅 Those fakeouts can be brutal. Maybe try widening your stop losses a bit, but also be prepared to cut your losses quickly if the trade goes against you. Lowering your position size might also help manage the stress. Good luck!
