Watching XAGUSD go up so fast right now. It broke past 79.00. I'm in a buy but honestly, it's moving so quickly I'm a bit nervous. Thinking of moving my SL up to around 78.50 to lock in some gains.

Hi @enwosu160, I understand the nervousness when price moves that quickly. It can feel like you're losing control. For XAGUSD right now, the move past 79.00 was significant, but we're seeing it consolidate just below the 50-day SMA around 79.71. Moving your stop to 78.50 is a reasonable protective measure to lock in some profit. However, consider that 78.50 is also quite close to the S2 pivot at 80.58, so it might be a bit too tight if there's any minor pullback before a potential continuation. I'd personally be watching the 79.00-79.30 area as potential support if it dips, and perhaps setting the stop a bit lower, maybe around the 200-day SMA if you're aiming for longer-term gains. Always good to have defined exit points, though.

Hey @enwosu160, yeah it's moving fast! I'd probably tighten that SL too, just to be safe. No need to give back all your potential gains.
