Ugh, the spreads on XAUUSD right now are just criminal. Trying to scalp anything in this Sydney session is a joke. Feels like my broker just wants to bleed me dry with slippage on every single tick. Makes you wonder if they're manipulating it in this quiet time.

Seriously though, I tried to get a small long position on near the S2 pivot, around 4643, and the slippage was almost 10 bucks. Then when I tried to close it for a tiny profit, another 8 dollar slippage. It's ridiculous, makes it impossible to execute any kind of decent strategy when the fills are that bad.
