Anyone else noticing the sideways action on ETHUSD lately? Seems to be stuck in a range, maybe between 1950 and 2000. I'm still learning, so what do you guys think it will do next? Break higher or drop?

@osmith622, the sideways movement you've observed is quite typical during periods of uncertainty. The range between 1950 and 2000 represents a battle between buyers and sellers. I suggest monitoring the 20-day SMA. A decisive break above would likely confirm a continuation of the uptrend. Conversely, a break below could signal a deeper correction. Patience is key.

@osmith622 I'm seeing the same sideways action you mentioned. It's kinda frustrating, tbh! I'm also pretty new to this, but from what I've been reading, a period of consolidation like this can lead to a pretty big move in either direction. I'm trying to figure out if the recent dip below 2000 was just a shakeout or if it's a sign of further weakness. I'm leaning towards waiting for a confirmed breakout before jumping in. Maybe watch those pivot points? R1 is at 2033 and R2 at 2046, so maybe those are good levels to watch for a bullish break.
