USDJPY Mar 9
Been thinking about my USDJPY trades lately. I used to just FOMO in whenever I saw a green candle, but that's a quick way to become a bag holder. Now I'm focusing on waiting for pullbacks to the 50 SMA on the H4 before entering long positions. Patience pays, even if it means missing some initial upside. Gotta stick to the plan!

One more thing, I've started paying more attention to the DXY before trading USDJPY. It gives a good indication of overall dollar strength. If the dollar is weak across the board, USDJPY is less likely to rally, even if the JPY is also weak. Been burned by that before lol. Gotta check the correlations.

Also, I've noticed that USDJPY loves to do a liquidity grab before making a big move. So now I place my stops a bit further away from obvious levels, even if it means a slightly smaller position size. Better to be in the game than stopped out prematurely. I'm still learning tho, NFA.
