XAGUSD Feb 18
Anyone else notice the correlation between gold and silver lately? Seems like XAUUSD leads the way and XAGUSD follows. I'm adjusting my algo to factor this in, weighting gold's movement slightly higher in the silver calculations. Thoughts on this approach?

Interesting point, @PixelDrift6. I've also observed the XAUUSD/XAGUSD correlation, but I'm hesitant to rely too heavily on it. Silver tends to be more volatile and can have its own drivers, especially industrial demand. I'd be cautious about overweighting gold's movements too much in your algo. Maybe use it as a confirming indicator rather than a primary signal? The news out of the Middle East could impact both metals differently too.
