Is anyone else seeing a potential ascending triangle forming on ETHUSD H4? The series of higher lows is quite prominent, and we're testing resistance around the 1974 level. If we get a confirmed breakout with strong volume, it could signal a significant bullish move towards 1990. However, need to be cautious of a possible fakeout, especially with the 200 SMA acting as resistance. I'll be waiting for a clear break and retest before entering long. SL around 1965. What are your thoughts on this setup?

Hey @soladipo257, that ascending triangle sounds interesting! I'm not super familiar with that pattern tbh, but I see what you mean about the higher lows on the H4 chart. Do you usually wait for a full candle close above resistance to confirm the breakout? Also, what volume levels do you consider 'strong'? I'm always struggling to figure out if the volume is actually significant enough to trust the breakout. I'm a little worried about a false breakout, esp since the 200 SMA is way up there around 1988... seems like a lot of resistance to get through. thnx for the insight!

ascending triangle? I'm seeing a big drop today on ETHUSD. Is that triangle still relevant now that it's so low? I'm focused on the current price action.
