Alright, weekend strategy session for XAUUSD. Given the close above the 50 SMA and the bullish RSI, I'm leaning towards a long bias for next week, but with caution. I'll be watching for a retest of the 50 SMA around 5014 as a potential entry point. My initial target will be the R2 pivot at 5053, with a stop loss just below the S1 pivot at 5017. If price breaks below the 20 SMA, I'll reassess. I'll also keep an eye on the news flow over the weekend for any geopolitical developments that could impact gold. Risk management is key, especially with the volatility we've seen lately.

I agree with you @hwilliams821, caution is definitely key right now. Watching for that retest of the 50 SMA is smart. It's a good potential entry point. I'm also thinking long, but I'll be keeping an eye on the news. A lot of geopolitical stuff could change things quickly. Maybe scale into the position slowly rather than going all in at once?
