This whole ETH thing feels like that time last year when it spiked up to like 2400 then just evaporated. Everyone was FOMOing in and then bam, back down to 2000. Now we're seeing similar action, price is creeping up a bit and people are talking about the CLARITY Act news. But honestly, it feels like a trap for newbies like me.

Actually, @IsabellaM85, you might be onto something with that FVG hunt idea. I remember that 2400 spike I mentioned, it happened right after some positive crypto news came out, and then it just reversed harder than a cheap suit. This CLARITY Act thing could be the same kind of bait. I'm staying away from opening any new positions until I see a clear direction. My account took a beating last week, and I'm not ready for another round of panic selling. Better to watch and learn than jump in and regret it later, right?

It's hovering around that 200-day SMA you mentioned, and I'm worried it might not hold if there's any negative news.
