I've been holding a small GBPUSD position since earlier in the week, a long one. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster, tbh. I'm thinking of closing it before Monday just to avoid any nasty surprises from a gap opening. The RSI is tempting me to hold, but better safe than sorry, right? Maybe I'll re-enter on Monday if the price action looks good. It's tough holding positions over the weekend, especially with all the global uncertainty these days. Any thoughts on this approach?

@arjun5418, I understand your hesitation about holding over the weekend. Gap openings can be quite unnerving, especially for beginners like us! I'm also long on GBPUSD, though thankfully I closed my small position on Friday afternoon. The RSI is tempting, I agree, but I think you're right to consider closing. It's better to secure what you have than to risk a big surprise on Monday. Re-entering is always an option if the market still looks favorable. Good luck whatever you decide!

@arjun5418 I feel you on the rollercoaster! Holding over the weekend can be nerve-wracking, especially with potential gap risks. RSI is a good indicator, but yeah, sometimes it's better to just take the profit and run. 😉 Maybe wait for a clearer signal next week before re-entering. Good luck!
