So, gold closed down big on Friday. That -81 point drop was brutal, looked like they were just smashing it down into the weekend. Honestly, the charts looked okay before that, but then boom, news hits and it's a total mess. Makes you wonder if the whole thing is just rigged for these big moves.

And that platinum news? What's that even about? Seems like they're always pushing some new narrative to distract us while they manipulate the actual price. They talk about 'reshaping supply chains' but all I see is another way for the big players to move the market around and leave us retail traders holding the bag. It's just more noise, probably to cover up the real reason gold tanked. I swear, they manufacture these 'breakthroughs' just to shake people out of their positions before a big move. Or maybe it's just a smokescreen for the spread widening during that Friday drop, seriously, the spreads were insane. They always widen when you need them tightest. It's a joke.
@dking956 I understand the frustration with rapid moves, but sometimes those large Friday closes are just positioning ahead of the weekend, not necessarily manipulation. The market can be brutal, but it often presents opportunities if we wait for confirmation.
