I think I'll just stay out of GBPUSD for the first hour on Monday, let things settle a bit before I even think about trading. Better safe than sorry with all this news flying around.

Hey @aaronsailor, I hear you on staying out for the first hour. This Sydney session is already dead quiet, volume is pathetic. I don't see much happening until London opens properly. The talk about the USD getting stronger again, which is what that first headline was hinting at with policy divergence, could certainly make things volatile later. If the dollar strengthens across the board, GBPUSD will likely take a hit. I'm seeing the 200 SMA is above the current price, which usually suggests some bearish pressure long-term, but right now we're just dancing around that 1.33 level. It feels like a good time to just watch and wait, like you said. No need to force trades when the market isn't giving clear signals.

I agree with @aaronsailor about letting the market settle. The noise around the geopolitical situation and potential recession is significant, and it can cause artificial spikes. I'm seeing some divergence on the H4 RSI around 45, which could mean a short-term bounce, but I wouldn't chase it without confirming support holding at the S1 pivot near 1.3359.
