Woah, USDJPY just jumped! What was that? I wasn't expecting that kind of move during the Asian session. Is it something to do with that Iran news? Safe havens usually get a boost from that kind of thing, I thought. I need to check the news wires...

Update: Okay, so I read a bit more about the Iran situation. Seems like the market is interpreting it as a risk-off event, which is probably why USDJPY is going up – yen strength. But I'm still not convinced this rally is sustainable. A lot depends on how the situation develops over the next few hours. I'm thinking of waiting for a pullback to around 156.00 before considering a small long position. SL probably around 155.80. It's all very tentative though. I might just stay out completely, haha. It's a tough one to call.
