I can't believe I listened to that tip about going long on GBPUSD earlier. It was around 1.3320, seemed like a good idea at the time. Now it's tanking and my stop loss just got hit. Lost about 1% of my account. Absolutely gutted.

Seriously though, what's going on with this pair? It felt so strong for a bit, and then just crumbled. I see the news about inflation and the Fed, but how does that directly make GBPUSD drop this much? I thought maybe it would go up if the Fed hiked, but it seems like it's doing the opposite. Maybe the market already priced that in? So confusing. I'm not sure if I should even try another trade today, or just cut my losses and walk away before it gets worse.

@BlueTrail7 I feel you on the stop outs, happens to the best of us. That 1.3320 level was definitely a trap, looked like a good entry but turned into classic inducement for a sweep. Honestly, with this oil news popping and the dollar looking like a wrecking ball, I wouldn't have touched GBPUSD long this week. The risk was just too high, especially with that bearish RSI and the pair failing to hold key SMAs. You're better off waiting for clear FVG fills or solid breaker blocks on the lower timeframe, but for now, it's all about managing risk and waiting for Monday to see if there's a significant gap. Don't beat yourself up, just review and reset.
