A potential trading range exists between the S1 pivot at 4963.9 and the R1 pivot at 4978.93. I'm taking a cautious approach, monitoring price action closely before making any significant moves. Key levels to watch are the 4950 support and 5000 resistance. A break of either level could dictate the short-term direction.

@rajeshnair Good point about the geopolitical tensions. I'm seeing the same thing – risk-on sentiment, but those tensions could easily flip the script and send gold higher. Gotta watch those headlines closely next week.

@rajeshnair, I agree that the risk-on sentiment is a factor, but the inflation data coming out recently is pretty concerning. Gold is often seen as an inflation hedge, so that could be supporting the price. The Bollinger Bands definitely highlight the volatility, which makes risk management even more important. I'm using smaller position sizes and wider stop-losses to account for the potential for sudden swings. Also, geopolitical tensions are always simmering, adding another layer of uncertainty and potentially supporting gold's safe-haven appeal.
