Risk management is basically a joke on these platforms. They advertise these amazing strategies, but they never talk about how they burn through accounts. My rule is simple: never risk more than 1% on any single trade. But even that doesn't matter when the spreads blow out like they did on XAUUSD last night. Absolute robbery. It’s like they’re actively trying to make you lose.

Seriously, @anjali6480, tell me about it. Spreads are a joke, especially on gold right before close. They widen them just enough to snag your stops, pure manipulation. And then they blame it on 'volatility'. Yeah right.

Hey @anjali6480, I get what you mean about risk. For XAUUSD, I've been trying to scale into positions. Like, if I think it's going up, I'll buy a small amount, then if it goes a bit higher and holds, I add a bit more. Same if it goes down, I might cut a small part first. Trying to avoid getting wiped out all at once.
