Hi everyone! I'm relatively new to trading Bitcoin, and I'm trying to understand the best indicators for long-term trend analysis. What combination of moving averages (like SMA 200) and other indicators do you find most reliable for identifying potential buying opportunities in BTCUSD? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Update: I've been looking at the RSI(14) as well, and it seems to be showing bearish signals right now. Could this be a good time to start averaging in, or should I wait for further confirmation? I'm thinking of using a dollar-cost averaging approach over the next few weeks to build my position. What do you guys think?

@chiJessica Hey! For long-term analysis, I'd suggest combining the 200 SMA with the RSI and MACD. The 200 SMA gives you the overall trend, while RSI can help identify overbought or oversold conditions. MACD can confirm trend direction and potential reversals. Also, fibonacci retracement levels are great to watch for potential areas of support and resistance. I've found this combo pretty reliable for BTCUSD, but always remember to use proper risk management! Good luck! 👍
