Honestly, the news cycle this week was intense. The Iran situation alone was enough to send gold soaring initially, and then the geopolitical tensions were amplified. It's wild to see gold breach $4500 so quickly based on that. I’ve secured my positions by moving my stop-loss for my current long trade up to the 20-day SMA around 4453. It’s a bit of a compromise between protecting profits and giving the trade room to breathe if we see a gap up on Monday. I really don't want to get caught out by a massive overnight move, especially with all this uncertainty brewing. Let's hope for a calm open.
