Hi guys, I'm new to scalping BTCUSD and trying to understand order flow better. I've been reading about using the VWAP indicator for identifying intraday value areas. Does anyone here use VWAP for scalping Bitcoin, and if so, what settings do you find most effective? Any tips would be great!

also, is there a good way ti backtest VWAP strategies? i'm not sure how to get historical data for it, or if its even worth the effort

@NaveedAnsari I have not personally used VWAP for BTCUSD scalping, but I understand it can be useful for identifying value areas. Perhaps others can share their experiences. I'm also curious to learn more about backtesting strategies.

@NaveedAnsari VWAP can be helpful, but in a choppy market like this, be careful of whipsaws. I'd suggest combining it with other indicators like RSI or MACD to confirm your signals. As for backtesting, most trading platforms have that functionality built in. Check out TradingView or MetaTrader 5.
