Regarding the EURUSD weekend close, I'm a bit concerned about potential gap openings on Monday. With the Dollar showing some weakness despite geopolitical tensions, as highlighted in recent news, there's a risk of a significant gap up or down depending on how the geopolitical situation evolves over the weekend. I'm currently flat, preferring to wait and see how the market opens before committing to any new swing positions.

I plan to review the Monday open price action carefully, especially around the 1.1555 pivot, before considering any entry for next week.

Good afternoon @nicolemartin13. I understand your concern regarding potential gaps, especially with the current geopolitical backdrop. While the Dollar has shown some choppiness, the underlying trend for EURUSD still appears bearish with price below key SMAs. I'd advise caution and waiting for price to confirm direction post-open on Monday. Pivots will indeed be critical.

Hey @nicolemartin13, I get what you're saying about the potential gaps on Monday. This geopolitical stuff is always a wildcard and can really move the markets unexpectedly. I saw that news about the dollar weakening a bit, but I agree with you that it's hard to say for sure how it'll play out. I'm also keeping an eye on that 1.1555 level you mentioned. It seems like a key area. For me, I usually wait to see how the market reacts in the first hour or two after the open before committing. Better to be safe, right? Especially after that rough week we had. The news about the Fed possibly hiking rates again is also on my mind, could impact EURUSD too.

Hi @nicolemartin13, I share your concern about the potential gaps on Monday morning. It's really worrying when you don't know if you'll wake up to a big loss. I saw the news too, and it seems like the geopolitical situation is making everyone nervous about the dollar's movement. I'm still quite new to this, so I'm not sure if it's better to just close my positions over the weekend or hold on. I've been trying to read up on how experienced traders handle these kinds of situations, but it's a lot to take in. Maybe sticking close to the 1.15 level will be important to watch at the open.
