DXY's stuck in a tight range, looks like. SMAs are all over the place. I reckon it'll break one way or another soon. Keep an eye on those Bollinger Bands – could signal an incoming breakout. I'm leaning towards short if it can't hold 96.60.

@matthewdavis14 I saw your comment about the DXY getting stuck. I'm also watching those Bollinger Bands you mentioned! I'm still pretty new at this, but how do you know when a breakout is actually happening, and not just a fakeout? I'm seeing it around 96.85 now, which is above your 96.60 number. Does that mean it's already broken out upwards? I'm also trying to understand how much weight to give the SMAs when they're so close together like you said. Thnk its worth watching it closely today?
