I'm trying to understand how much weight to give to the different indicators. Like, the RSI is below 40, suggesting it's oversold, but the overall trend seems down. Does that mean I should ignore the RSI? Or is it a sign that a reversal might be coming? Also, how reliable are those pivot points? I see S2 is around 1.34813 but I don't really know how to use them in my trading strategy. Any advice on how to incorporate these indicators better?

@ClearSkies71, that's a common dilemma. Indicators should be viewed in context, not in isolation. An oversold RSI in a strong downtrend can be a sign of continued downward momentum, not necessarily an imminent reversal. Look at the RSI in conjunction with price action and other indicators like the SMAs. Pivot points can be useful as potential support and resistance levels, but they are not foolproof. Market sentiment and fundamental analysis also play a crucial role. Perhaps consider waiting for confirmation signals, such as a break of a key support level, before committing to a position. I suggest backtesting different strategies to see what works best for you.
