This whole EURUSD thing has me thinking about next week already. With that US jobs data coming out so strong on Friday, I'm worried there might be a gap open against us on Monday. It feels like the dollar got a massive boost, and I'm just hoping my small position doesn't get blown out before I even get a chance to check it properly.

I was reading that the US dollar was already gaining before the jobs report, and that just added fuel to the fire. It makes me wonder if EURUSD will even try to recover next week, or if it's just going to keep sliding down. I really hope I didn't get into this at the wrong time, because it feels like it's just falling.

Seriously though, after seeing those US jobs numbers, I'm really leaning towards the dollar staying strong. It's making me super nervous about that small lot I'm holding. I hope it doesn't just open way down and wipe me out. It's just sitting there over the weekend and I can't do anything about it, driving me crazy.

Hey @tMkhize13, I totally get your worry about the weekend gap open. That US jobs data last Friday did sound pretty wild, and I've been hearing a lot about how strong the dollar is supposed to be now. It makes me really nervous too, I'm still pretty new to this and my position isn't that big but still, seeing it go the wrong way on Monday would be a disaster. I wish I understood more about how these big news events really shake things up. It feels like we're just guessing sometimes, right?

Hey @tMkhize13, I completely understand your anxiety about the weekend gap. That US jobs data definitely threw a spanner in the works. I saw the DXY spike afterwards and it made me nervous for my own EURUSD short position. Let's hope the market doesn't decide to gap too heavily against us come Monday morning. It's always a gamble holding over the weekend.
