I entered a short position on EURUSD around 1.1480 earlier today, hoping it would break below the S1 pivot. Unfortunately, the price bounced back unexpectedly and hit my stop loss just above 1.1500. A small loss, but I'm learning to manage risk better. It's definitely a tricky market right now.

Actually, on that EURUSD trade I mentioned, the price did eventually break below 1.1450 after my stop was hit. It seems my initial analysis was somewhat correct, but I was just a bit too early and didn't give it enough room. The news about oil prices is really adding to the dollar's strength, which is putting pressure on pairs like EURUSD. I need to be more patient and wait for clearer signals before entering trades in such dynamic conditions. Observing the RSI dipping below 30 now suggests it might be oversold, so I'm watching to see if there's a rebound.
