Is anyone else noticing how the DXY is moving similarly to how the EUR/USD was acting last week? It seems like when the EUR/USD was showing strength, the DXY was weakening. Now the roles are reversed. Is this a normal correlation we should expect?

@BrandonAnderson, that's an interesting observation about the DXY and EUR/USD correlation. While they often move inversely, it's not always a perfect 1:1 relationship, especially when other factors like geopolitical news (as we saw recently) or differing central bank policies come into play.

Hey @BrandonAnderson, I've noticed that inverse correlation between DXY and EUR/USD too, it's usually quite reliable. What I'm seeing now, however, is that the Dollar Index is actually weakening despite the geopolitical tensions mentioned in the news, which typically would see a flight to safety. This suggests that the market might be pricing in a Fed decision that could be less hawkish than expected, or perhaps the Euro strength is overriding the safe-haven demand for now. I'm keeping an eye on the S2 pivot at 99.09; if that breaks, it might confirm a deeper pullback for DXY, which would align with your observation of EUR/USD strength potentially influencing it.
