So, the DXY closed around 99.68 on Friday. With the jobs data coming out strong, I'm curious to see what kind of gap we might open with on Monday. Anyone have any thoughts on what the market makers might be planning for next week, or if this dollar strength is likely to hold?

Hey @oliverlewis98, yeah I saw the DXY closed around 99.68 too. It's weird because I was just reading some articles about the rising oil prices due to the Middle East tensions and how that usually makes the dollar stronger, like a safe bet. But the DXY has actually been ticking down a bit this evening, which doesn't make sense to me. I thought dollar strength was supposed to happen with all this chaos? Maybe the jobs data will push it back up on Monday, but honestly, I'm just a bit confused by it all. Is it possible the market is ignoring the geopolitical risk for now or is something else going on? I'm still learning, so any insights would be great.
