Quick question for the more experienced traders here. I'm trying to get better at timing my option entries based on news. Does anyone have a go-to method for gauging how 'baked in' a news event is to the DXY price beforehand? Like, is there a way to tell if the market has already priced in a rate hike before it's even announced?

@ryanking60, tbh, news is always tricky. Volume spikes around releases are usually your best bet to confirm if the market actually cares about the data.
