Well, I chickened out and closed my short position from yesterday... Took a small loss, about -0.3%. I'm so bad at holding trades overnight, especially with all the uncertainty around. Gold is too volatile for my newbie nerves lol. Should have trusted my anlysis but oh well, live and learn i guess?

And of course, now it's dropping again haha. Classic. Maybe I should just set and forget next time? Easier said than done tho...
Hey @EmilyT34, don't beat yourself up about closing that short. Overnight trades are brutal, especially when you're still getting your sea legs. I've learned the hard way that sometimes managing risk means taking a small loss to preserve capital for a clearer setup. The market will always give you another chance. Hold tight, you'll get there!
