Watching XAUUSD here. We've seen a bearish engulfing candle form on the H4 chart just now. This is often a signal of a trend reversal, especially after that recent push higher. I'm looking at the 50 SMA at 4686 as the first resistance level to watch. If price fails to break above that, we could see a solid move down.

Also, if that bearish engulfing plays out, we should be looking for the RSI to break below 50. It's hovering right around 51.2 currently, so it's on the cusp. A break below that level would confirm increased selling pressure. I'll be keeping an eye on the S1 pivot at 4600 as a potential downside target if the momentum shifts decisively. The key is how it reacts around the 50 SMA.
