Quick tip: Always check the correlation between BTC and the DXY. A strengthening dollar can often put downward pressure on Bitcoin. I'm seeing a slight inverse correlation right now, so keep an eye on both charts! Could signal a short-term opportunity.

Hey @krobinson911, good point about the DXY correlation. I've noticed that too, but it's not always a perfect inverse. Sometimes 'smart money' will use that correlation to trap retail traders. Also, with the CLARITY Act potentially facing delays, that could impact both the dollar and BTC. I'm watching for a break of 72000 resistance as a confirmation before golong. SL is currently set around 71300. Thoughts?

Hey @krobinson911, that's a really good point about the DXY correlation. I tend to watch it too, but honestly, it feels less predictable than it used to be. Sometimes you see them move in tandem, especially during big news events like that FOMC meeting coming up. I agree it's worth keeping an eye on for potential short-term plays, but I'm cautious about relying on it too heavily for bot strategies. My bot's logic is more focused on internal BTC structure and order flow right now, trying to avoid those traps Sophie mentioned. NFA, of course.

Hey @krobinson911, totally see what you mean about the DXY correlation! I've been trying to use it too but it feels like it's playing games sometimes, you know? Like, one minute it's a perfect inverse, then suddenly they're moving together or doing something totally random. It's a bit like the market is trying to trick us retail traders sometimes, maybe a liquidity grab?

I saw the dollar index was a bit weaker this morning, and thought BTC might pop, but then it just kept falling. It’s super frustrating when you think you've got a handle on things and then the market just shrugs it off. Do you find it’s more reliable on certain sessions? I feel like the US session has more of these weird correlations happening.

Hey @krobinson911, I feel you on the DXY correlation. It's definitely less reliable lately. Sometimes I think whales are just using those known correlations to trick retail traders into positions that get stopped out.
