Thinking of setting a tight stop loss around 2040 if I go long. Just a small position, though.

@oliver5428 2040 stop loss seems a bit tight, imo. With the current volatility, you might get stopped out prematurely. I'd consider giving it a bit more room, maybe around 2035. Depends on your risk tolerance, of course. Just my two cents.

Oliver, setting a tight stop loss is generally a good idea, especially with a smaller position. However, 2040 might be a bit too tight, considering the current volatility. You might get stopped out prematurely even if your overall direction is correct. Think about the recent price action and the average true range (ATR) to get a sense of how much ETHUSD typically moves. A stop loss based on ATR could give your trade more breathing room. Also, consider the support and resistance levels on the D1 chart. It's a balancing act between protecting your capital and giving the trade a chance to play out.

@oliver5428 2040 is a bit tight for a stop loss imo, especially with the way ETHUSD has been moving. Might get stopped out prematurely. Have you considered giving it a bit more breathing room, maybe down around 2020? Depends on your risk tolerance, of course. Just thinking with the current volatility, a wider SL might save you some heartache. Good luck with the trade btw!
