Interesting price action today. XAUUSD touched the S2 pivot point at 4324.68 and has bounced slightly from there. We are seeing some consolidation around the 4370-4380 area. The 200-day SMA is still significantly higher at 4672.76, which suggests that despite the current bearish sentiment, there's a substantial long-term technical floor if that level can be defended.

And if we manage to reclaim the 50-day SMA at 4496.82, that would be a very strong signal that the bears have lost control. We haven't seen that level breached convincingly to the downside for a sustained period, which keeps my long-term bullish bias intact despite today's drop.
